Analysing Film Posters - Introduction

In the next few posts I will be analysing five posters for films from different genres, outlining the conventions that continually crop up. From there, I will use those most common conventions in order to create my own poster.

The posters I will be analysing are for the following films: 'Puss in Boots', 'Avatar', 'Perfect Blue', 'Hellraiser' and 'Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery'.
