The first horror film poster I am going to look at is for 'Final Destination 3'.

The poster contains the following typical conventions of the horror genre:

• Tagline references death and directly addresses the audience (typical of the genre)

• Typical characters associated with the genre
• Iconography of the horror genre (terrified characters, skull)
• Font used is typical of the genre (serif, in capitals)
