Updated Shot List for My Teaser Trailer for 'Se7en Devils'
I have updated my shot list, so I am now ready to film, though I may complete one more draft before filming.
- establishing shot of town from a hill – take a few static shots, but also some slow pans and slow zooms, in case they can be used later in the sequence/to give more options during editing (five or six shots should be enough)
- establishing shot of a rural road leading to the town – again, shoot this in a number of different ways from static shots to pans/zooms, and maybe even a moving shot (shot from inside a car)
- medium shot of road sign showing the town name 'Seven Devils' (can be shot in the same village, placed over the existing sign, sign needs to be made)
- extreme long shot of suburban house (take a number of shots of the house, from different angles, and maybe a couple of shots slowly zooming in)
- pan slowly around room to show posters and props (do a number of pans, some right to left and others left to right, and also one that goes full circle 360 degrees)
- series of close ups of props and posters (lots of shots, film these from eye level angles, but also each one from canted angles as well – with the posters, focus in on the gory bits and/or the titles, to emphasise the horror)
- two shot of girls sitting on couch – from lots of different angles, some static, some of the shots moving around them, and make sure that there are many different distances including long shots/medium long shot/medium shot/medium close up/close up – need to know the dialogue so that this matches with the images
- series of over the shoulder shots, keeping shot distance same for both (film many different shots)
