Analysing Film Social Media Pages 3 - 'Uncharted'
'Uncharted' has a range of social media pages across many platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter/X.
Posts on Instagram include video clips from the film, a range of trailers and video interviews with each of the main actors. All of the film's posters appear on the platform, as do links to merchandise and tickets (though this is now out of date as the film is no longer in cinemas).
The photos section on facebook includes multiple still images from the film, alongside film posters. Videos on the platform feature clips from the movie, but also contain gifs featuring characters from the film, videos of the videogame the film is based on and trailers for other films made by the same production company.
The Twitter/X page follows the conventional layout, with the title of the film as the username and the header photo is the poster. The biography has a link to buy the film alongside the film's 'hashtag'. There are pinned tweets with information for the film's release on Blu-ray and multiple tweets which contain images from the film. Videos include clips, trailers and behind the scenes footage.
